I hope you are having an amazing week so far. Father’s Day is just around the corner and in honor of that, I figured I would put together a little cute gift guide for you in case you are stuck on what to get your dad for Father’s Day as a daughter.
Let’s get into this gift guide!
A Mug.
This is a super simple gift, but there are so many possibilities that this could make a great gift. Whether your dad likes collecting mugs or really needs a new one, this is a great opportunity to get him a mug that says something about him or that you think he would really like. There are even places that let you customize mugs so you can include a message or a picture that really makes the mug just for him.
Beard Trimmer.
Maybe your dad has mentioned needing a new one or maybe it’s just something you think he might need. This could make a great gift if you are struggling to come up with something else. This is a great practical gift that is useful whether your dad has no facial hair or a lot of facial hair because that area requires upkeep for all guys. The dad in your life might really appreciate this.
Leather Wallet.
I don’t know who wouldn’t want a new wallet. This is another super practical gift that the dad in your life would appreciate. And a really nice leather wallet might last him a really long time. You could even engrave this with something to personalize it and make it even more special. But a wallet is something that most guys carry with them all the time, so why not give him something he can use?
Ancestry Kit.
It’s always cool to know where you came from, so an ancestry kit would be a really fun way to go. Even if your dad has never mentioned being curious about where he comes from or if he thinks he knows a lot about it, it’s cool to be able to trace your heritage. It could also be really neat to learn that you are related to people you never thought you could be related to.
Family Portrait.
A nice, framed family portrait is a sentimental favorite that hopefully won’t be forgotten. It’s something that any dad would love to have. So you could take an old family photo and put it in a nice frame or you could take a new photo and get a nice frame for it. Regardless, this is a gift that is sure to please a lot of dads and something they can keep for years to come.
Movie Poster.
Does your dad have a favorite movie or a movie that holds a lot of value and significance to them? See if you can find a movie poster for that movie that you can give them. They are sure to appreciate the time, effort, and money spent on this gift especially if it is rare to find. But if you are able to snatch a movie poster to a movie that you know they love, it’s an opportunity you should gladly take.
Gift Card.
If your dad has a favorite restaurant or favorite place to shop, give him a gift he won’t be able to refuse. A gift card! It’s a great way for you to treat him to something you know he will love because he will be picking it out. This is a great way to go especially if you can’t be with your dad or aren’t close enough to make him something. This can easily be mailed with a nice card.
Waterproof Phone Case.
Most dads have cell phones by now, so a nice gift could be a waterproof phone case perfect for their phone. With so many styles and colors, you are sure to find one that he will love and can get a lot of use out of. This is another gift that you could personalize if you wanted and can make it more specific to him. Especially if your dad doesn’t have a waterproof phone case already.
Engraved Pocket Knife.
If your dad loves pocket knives, this is a great opportunity to give him one to add to his collection. Even if he never uses it, the sentiment is really nice and it’s something he can hold on to for a long time. You can get it engraved with his name or something meaningful to make it even more special. If your dad really loves these kinds of gifts, this is a great option.
Grill Accessories.
If your dad loves to grill and you know he has a lot of plans to grill this Summer, get him some nice grill accessories. From new cooking utensils to a funny apron, gift your dad some accessories that will make his grilling experience that much better! It’s a great way to give him a gift that he will not only love but also get great use out of. You can even throw in a cookbook if he’s looking for new ideas!
Travel accessories.
If you have a world traveler dad, then consider getting him a skincare travel set (Something he will never purchase by himself), or a mobile white noise machine (if he has a sleeping problem). You can find more travel accessory gifts here.
Soft Throw Blanket.
Dads need soft, cozy, warm throw blankets too, just that no one thought about that cute idea for men. Whether they put them on the couch, on their bed, or on the chairs on the front porch, the argument can be made that a human can simply never have too many plush blankets.
